There remains large room for Vietnam’s shrimp industry to strive for greater export growth in the next few years, said the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

In which, the main product is pangasius fillet, up 11%, reaching VND 489 billion and accounting for more than half of total monthly revenue. In which, the top 5 markets include the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Italy and France, accounting for 72%. Exports of all major products to the EU grew positively, except pangasius. In which, clam exports grew the most, up 42% and became the 4th largest seafood species in terms of export value to the EU.
