Myronivsky Hliboproduct wants to work with Vietnamese exporter Anvifish to introduce pangasius into Ukraine. Ukrainian agribusiness company Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) wants to invest in Vietnam's pangasius farms, according to its director Yuriy Kosyuk.

(NASS-USDA) Farm-raised catfish processed during August 2012 totaled 24.9 million pounds round weight, down 19 percent from August 2011. The average price paid to producers was 79.8 cents per pound for August 2012, down 4.5 cents from last month and 47.9 cents below a year ago.
