Vietnam fish production in 2013

(vasep.com.vn) Vietnam’s fish production in 2013 was estimated to hit 6.05 million MT, up 2.1 percent year-on-year, including 2.71 million MT of capture production (up 2.2 percent) and 3.34 million MT of aquaculture production.

Among Vietnam’s total aquaculture production, brackishwater shrimp production estimated to touch 548 thousand MT (up 12.3 percent) and pangasius output reached 1.15 million MT (down 7.6 percent).
