Thailand was Vietnam’s second largest pangasius importer in ASEAN, after Singapore; but sales to this destination got the highest growth.

Accordingly, Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) was asked to collect from all relevant regulatory agencies and other stakeholders in the industry (including farmers, processors, exporters, associations and organizations) recommendations on the Decree, which was then submitted to be approved by the government.
