Pangasius exports to markets keep increasing

(pangasius-vietnam.com) In the first two months of 2012, pangasius export value of Vietnam approached US$264 million, up 18.6 percent from the same period of 2011. In Feb 2012, pangasius exports reached US$148.3 million, showing a 75 percent increase from the same period of 2011 and a positive growth compared to that of the previous month (US$116.05 million).

Pangasius is the Netherlands’ favorite fish

(IntraFish) Pangasius is now the number one consumed fish in the Netherlands, replacing canned tuna. Consumption of pangasius from Vietnam in the Netherlands in 2011 was just over 5,500 metric tons, up from 4,600 metric tons the previous year, according to the Dutch Fish Promotion Board.
