We are a big exporter in production with biggest turnover of Vietnam from 1997 to 2000 (continously in 4 years), the highest turnover reaches 100 milions USD per year.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first 5 months of 2019, pangasius exports to ASEAN market reached US$87.3 million, up 14.6% over the same period in 2018. According to many businesses, ASEAN is a market that needs to be paid attention in the coming time.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In May 2019, Pangasius exports to EU market continued to increase nearly 18% compared to the same period in 2018. By the end of May, 2019, the total export value of pangasius to this market reached US$118.7 million, up 29.8%, accounting for 15% of total export value of pangasius. Particularly, exports to the UK and Germany continued to grow positively from 2 - 3 digits compared to the same period in 2018.

Hoa Phat Seafood Import – Export and Processing Joint Stock Company (HOPHAFISH) is located in Binh Long I.D.Z, Chau Phu Dist., An Giang Province, Vietnam. HOPHAFISH has completely new, modern and totally equipped facilities. There are nine IQF conveyors with the ability to transport 9000 kgs per hour; four contact-freezers that can freeze up to 3000 kgs fish per hour, and the cold-room that has the capacity to contain 4000 pallets of fish.

Established in the year 2000, Nam Viet Corporation (NAVICO) is one of the largest and most reputation Pangasius and Tilapia producers & exporters in Vietnam. These products are also well known as Basa or Pangasius hypophthalmus, and Tilapia with scientific name of Oreochromis niloticus, Tilapia nilotica, Oreochromis mossambicus, Tilapia mossambica, Oreochromis sp, Tilapia sp.

Indonesia is increasingly viewing the Middle East as a lucrative potential market for the country's pangasius and is showing intentions of competing with Vietnam in this region, said Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) As of the first half of May, 2019, Pangasius export value to EU market reached US$105.2 million, up 31.5% over the same period in 2018. In particular, exports to the four largest single importers all went up. The Netherlands increased by 12.2%; England climbed by 59.4%; Germany lifted by 61.6% and Belgium increased 63.8% over the same period last year. Thus, from the beginning of 2019, pangasius exports to EU has shown signs of clear growth after a long period of continuous decline.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In 2018, the value export of pangasius to the market of 10 countries CPTPP reached US$328.3 million, up 17.3% over the previous year. In particular, the export value to most countries achieved positive growth, except for the two Mexican markets which decreased by 4.65% and Peru declined by 19.6%.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In 2018, the export value of pangasius and basa fish to the Korean market reached US$5.75 million, up 28% year on year. However, in the first 4 months of this year, the export value of this product to Korea decreased by more than 14% over the same period in 2018. So far, Korea is still a small market for Vietnamese pangasius.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Through online channels such as China's leading e-commerce platform Alibaba, Vietnam's pangasius products have appeared in many major Chinese cities.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first three months of 2019, the total export value of pangasius to the Russian market reached 4.88 million USD, down 12.6% year on year.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Pangasius exports to Mexico as of the first half of February 2019 reached US$19.8 million, up 18.2% over the same period in 2018. Mexico was still the fifth largest Pangasius export market of Vietnam.

(seafood. vasep.com.vn) There was a fastidious importer in Asia that has started to "open up" to receive Vietnamese pangasius. 2018 marked the growth of Pangasius exports to Japan with an increase of 37.6% in total pangasius export value compared to 2017. Continued the upward trend, in the first 3 months of 2019, pangasius exports to Japan reached US$8.58 million, up 60.37% over the same period in 2018. This value was higher than the results to some potential markets such as UAE, Egypt, Germany or Belgium.

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Thanks to favorable selling prices, gross profit margins of many pangasius businesses increased and helped these companies continue to earn big profits in the first quarter of 2019.
