In the last week of June 2007, VASEP organised three training courses on fish quality preservation and safety with lectures conducted by VASEP’s experts.
The course “The portrait of “doorkeepers” in seafood processing plant and hygiene controll skills” conducted in Can Tho city on 25/06/2007 and Ho Chi Minh city on 27/06/2007 attracted 69 officers from seafood processing plants. The course covered the topics such as the importance of doorkeepers in quality management system, problems in hygiene supervision in plant as well as necessary skills and requiments towards doorkeepers.
This is the first time in Vietnam, these courses focusing on a position thought as less important in seafood processing plants - doorkeepers of plants- were conducted and received enthusiastic participation of seafood processing plants and trainees.
The 3 - day course “ Internal verification of HACCP system in seafood processing factories”, conducted in Ho Chi Minh city from 28 to 30 of June 2007, attracted 49 partipants. This is the 16th course organised in Vietnam. The course focused on issues relating internal verification as well as its operating principles.
