(vasep.com.vn) Recognizing VASEP as the strongest and most legitimate representative which can ensure for sustainable development of Vietnam fisheries industry, Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) – Danish Embassy has launched a programme of enhancing the capacity building for VASEP staffs as a part of the support project for Vietnam fisheries industry in 2011 - 2012. In which enhancing policy dialogue capacity in Vietnam to improve the business environment for the fisheries industry is a priority of VASEP.
To implement the plan, DANIDA in support with VASEP will hold a training course “Strengthening the policy dialogue efforts” to VASEP staffs at VASEP headquarters in Hanoi from May 7th – 10th 2012. Experts from Danish Industry (DI) will master the course.
The course will focus on 3 contents:
- Finalize the implementation plan for the project with senior staff of VASEP.
- Carry out a strategy and policy session with selected members of the staff (senior level) and preferably some members of the board of VASEP to discuss VASEP strategy and identify policy issues that are of importance to VASEP.
- A policy training session with selected staff on how to conduct policy advocacy and commence working on policy position papers.
