Revised administrative procedures to improve seafood exports
(vasep.com.vn) The Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc recently directed government agencies to reform administrative procedures in the fields of taxes and customs, social insurance, health insurance and aquatic product quarantine.
Accordingly, Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) would closely work with relevant agencies to examine and take initiatives to reduce administrative procedures in the quarantine of aquatic products. This helps to create a better framework to amend regulations on testing and certifying exported products, as well as quarantining imported and exported seafood products in order to support and expand seafood trading activities.
