(vasep.com.vn) On November 4th 2013, the forum for economic co-operation between Vietnam, Middle Eastern and North African partners was held for the first time in Hanoi. The forum was attended by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.
Participants of the forum included representatives from 15 Middle Eastern and North African countries, Embassies, international organizations, World Bank and businesses.
The forum aims to boost economic cooperation between Vietnam and Middle East -North Africa for common development and prosperity.
To further promote co-operation between two sides, they will negotiate to sign co-operation agreements on investment incentives, finance, aviation, maritime transport, and energy. These agreements will also facilitate goods trade between two sides, PM Nguyen Tan Dung stressed.
The Middle East and North Africa connecting Asia to Europe and Africa poses a great potential to Vietnam businesses.
