(vasep.com.vn) 2013 National Quality Award was granted to 82 companies according to the Decision No.359/QĐ-TTg signed the Prime Minister on March 10, 2014. Four member companies of Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) received the golden-titled award.
These companies were C.P. Vietnam Livestock Corporation – Binh Duong province-based branch, Vietnam Clean Seafood Corporation (Vina Cleanfood), Thien Phu Seafood Company, Cat Hai Joint-Stock Aquatic Processing and Services Company.
Among 62 companies granted silver-titled award this year, there were 28 large-scale companies, 24 small and medium sized companies, and 9 small and medium sized services companies. Many of them came from the seafood processing and export sector such as Hai Nam Co, Ltd, Sa Giang Import Export Corporation (Sagimexco), Khai Hoan Seafood PTE.
The national quality award is organized every year to honour Vietnamese companies with remarkable achievements in business. The awarded companies reported progresses in production and trading activities, making contribution to the improvement of Vietnamese products' brand names and competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets as well as to the socio-economic development of Vietnam.
