According to its export report, by the end of October, Seaprodex Saigon has exported 393 MT of seafood, worth US$692,000 to South Korea, Spain and New Zealand. South Korea was its largest importing market, representing more than 40 percent of the company’s total export turnover, followed by Spain, Singapore, and Hong Kong. However, China and Japan disappeared from Seaprodex Saigon’s list of importing markets in the first ten months of the year.
In October alone, the company exported 24 MT of seafood, mainly clam, scallop, mussel and snail, worth US$37,800. In September and October, Seaprodex Saigon maintained a relative low but stable seafood export volume.
