Russian herring catch up 100k metric tons

The Far East basin still provides the bulk of the herring catch. In the Okhotsk Sea, herring catches reached 141,330 metric tons, which is four times higher than the rate of the same period of last year. In the Bering Sea, the catch was only 10,000 metric tons.

The rest of the catch was caught in the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and other regions.
