VASEP Highlight - Mar/2026: Shrimp

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In February 2026, Vietnam's shrimp exports reached nearly US$310 million, up 17% compared with the same month last year. Cumulative shrimp export turnover for the first two months of the year totaled US$690 million, an increase of 20% year on year. Compared with the 22% growth recorded in January, the pace of expansion moderated in February, largely reflecting seasonal factors, as the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday temporarily disrupted processing and shipment activities.
