About 500 black tiger shrimp farmers participated in the training course, concerning concepts and factors causing food unsafely and their harmful effects, suggestions of what should/should not do in order to assure food safety and hygiene in farming ponds, etc. In addition, farmers had change to update their knowledge of Viet Nam’s legal documents such as Fisheries Law 2003, Ordinance on Food Safety and Hygiene in 2003, Decree No.31/2010/NĐ-CP dated 29 March 2010 on Administrative Punishment in Fisheries Sector, Decree No.40/2009/NĐ-CP dated 24 April 2009 on Administrative Punishment in Veterinary Sector.
