In the first nine months of 2009, Cafico Viet Nam shipped 743MT of cephalopods for a value of more than US$5.47 million, making it the sixth largest cephalopods exporter of the country, according to the statistics of Vietnam Customs.
In September, it reported to enjoy a 17.6 percent year-on-year increase in revenue, at VND106.978 billion, and a pre-tax earnings of VND9.828 billion, exceed 145 percent of the yearly plan.
In the last three months of 2009, to meet increasing demand of customers, Cafico Viet Nam will keep on sourcing raw material, stabilizing production, and maintaining equipments and technical infrastructure in good conditions to serve its export processing activities.
