Binh Dinh: Seafood exporters lack of raw materials

This is due to less fish stocks, rising gasoline price and high interest rates which influences on fishermen’s fishery farming. So far this year, capture fisheries production in the province has only reached 41,859 MT, down 10 percent over the same period last year. Besides, the shrimp diseases are occurring on a large scale, with 33.4 hectares, up 8.5 percent, harvested shrimp area decreased 21.7 hectares.
