Canada tiếp tục là thị trường nhập khẩu thủy sản tiềm năng

Thủy sản vẫn là một trong những mặt hàng Việt Nam xuất khẩu ra thế giới đạt trên 1 tỷ USD. Tính đến hết tháng 8/2011, kim ngạch xuất khẩu thủy sản của Việt Nam ra các nước trên thế giới tăng 24,4% so với cùng kỳ năm ngoái, đạt 3,7 tỷ USD. Trong đó Canada vẫn tiếp tục là thị trường nhiều tiềm năng của mặt hàng thủy sản Việt Nam.

Thủy sản v&#226;̃n l&#224; m&#244;̣t trong những mặt h&#224;ng Vi&#234;̣t Nam xu&#226;́t kh&#226;̉u ra th&#234;́ giới đạt tr&#234;n 1 tỷ USD. T&#237;nh đ&#234;́n h&#234;́t th&#225;ng 8/2011, kim ngạch xu&#226;́t kh&#226;̉u thủy sản của Vi&#234;̣t Nam ra c&#225;c nước tr&#234;n th&#234;́ giới tăng 24,4% so với c&#249;ng kỳ năm ngo&#225;i, đạt 3,7 tỷ USD. Trong đ&#243; Canada v&#226;̃n ti&#234;́p tục l&#224; thị trường nhi&#234;̀u ti&#234;̀m năng của mặt h&#224;ng thủy sản Vi&#234;̣t Nam.<br /><br />Theo s&#244;́ li&#234;̣u th&#244;́ng k&#234;, năm 2010, Vi&#234;̣t Nam xu&#226;́t kh&#226;̉u sang thị trường n&#224;y tăng 7,38% so với năm ngo&#225;i, đạt 115,87 tri&#234;̣u USD. Th&#225;ng 8 năm 2011, kim ngạch n&#224;y đạt 13,37 tri&#234;̣u USD, n&#226;ng t&#244;̉ng kim ngạch đạt 86,94 tri&#234;̣u USD, tăng 29,17% so với c&#249;ng kỳ 8 th&#225;ng năm 2010.<br /><br />Nhu c&#226;̀u nh&#226;̣p kh&#226;̉u thủy sản của Canada thường tăng mạnh v&#224;o thời gian từ th&#225;ng 5-11 h&#224;ng năm, do thời gian n&#224;y ở Canada th&#225;ng n&#224;o cũng đ&#234;̀u c&#243; m&#244;̣t ng&#224;y l&#234;̃ lớn. Nhu c&#226;̀u ti&#234;u d&#249;ng thủy sản tại qu&#244;́c gia c&#243; 34,03 tri&#234;̣u người n&#224;y cũng r&#226;́t đặc trưng, đa s&#244;́ sử dụng c&#225;c dạng sản ph&#226;̉m ch&#234;́ bi&#234;́n đ&#243;ng g&#243;i hoặc đ&#243;ng h&#244;̣p. C&#242;n lại đa s&#244;́ th&#236; được ph&#226;n ph&#244;́i cho c&#225;c nh&#224; h&#224;ng với những sản ph&#226;̉m c&#225; tươi s&#244;́ng.<br /><br />Những năm g&#226;̀n đ&#226;y, c&#225; tra đ&#244;ng lạnh v&#224; t&#244;m đ&#244;ng lạnh - v&#226;̃n l&#224; hai mặt h&#224;ng xu&#226;́t kh&#226;̉u chủ lực của Vi&#234;̣t Nam sang Canada. Theo th&#244;ng tin từ Thương vụ, ph&#237;a Canada đ&#227; đưa th&#244;ng tin cảnh b&#225;o dư lượng kh&#225;ng sinh Enroflaxacin trong c&#225; tra Vi&#234;̣t Nam. Thương vụ đ&#227; trao đổi với Cơ quan kiểm tra chất lượng thực phẩm Canada để n&#226;ng ngưỡng dư lượng Enrofloxaci l&#234;n 5.0ppb. Tuy nhi&#234;n, ph&#237;a Canada chỉ đồng &#253; n&#226;ng mức n&#224;y l&#234;n 1.0ppb.<br /><br />Trước t&#236;nh h&#236;nh tr&#234;n, doanh nghi&#234;̣p Vi&#234;̣t Nam c&#226;̀n lưu &#253; đ&#234;́n kh&#226;u sản xu&#226;́t, đảm bảo y&#234;u c&#226;̀u ch&#226;́t lượng sản ph&#226;̉m theo y&#234;u c&#226;̀u của thị trường Canada v&#224; người ti&#234;u d&#249;ng./.

However, thanks to strong performance in January, cumulative exports in the first two months of the year still reached USD 331 million, up 28% compared to the same period in 2025. Export activity slowed somewhat in February due to seasonal factors, particularly the Lunar New Year holiday, which disrupted production and shipments at many seafood processing enterprises.

Shrimp exports in the first two months of 2026: China drives growth, lobster surges

Cumulatively for the first two months of the year, shrimp export value totaled USD 690 million, an increase of 20% compared with the same period last year. Compared with the 22% growth recorded in January, the pace of increase in February slowed somewhat, reflecting seasonal factors as the Lunar New Year holiday partially disrupted processing and shipment activities. Nevertheless, the nearly 20% growth in the first two months indicates that shrimp orders from Vietnam are maintaining a more positive trend than in the same period last year.

Seafood exports in February 2026 slow down, brighter outlook expected in March

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Vietnam’s seafood exports in February 2026 reached approximately USD 707 million, up 8% compared to the same period last year. Cumulatively, exports in the first two months of 2026 totaled USD 1.7 billion, an increase of 20.2% year-on-year. The results show that the sector’s recovery momentum has remained relatively solid following strong growth in January, although the pace slowed noticeably in February for several key products and major markets. Within the overall picture, shrimp continues to be the largest pillar, pangasius rebounds strongly, while tuna exports and the U.S. and Korean markets are sending signals that warrant closer monitoring. In March, seafood exports are expected to gain additional momentum from markets other than the U.S., potentially supporting stronger growth.

Quang Tri seafood catch exceeds 15,941 tons
