Inventories: On Mercabarna, incoming volumes of shrimp and prawn declined by 350 kg during week 16. The most important drops were those of frozen shrimp and frozen South American shrimp HLSO. The most significant rise was reported by frozen Tunisian shrimp.
On Mercamadrid, during week 17, incoming volumes of frozen shrimp declined and those of fresh and frozen prawn and fresh shrimp increased. The most important variations were the increases in small and medium-sized prawns.
Prices: On Mercabarna, during week 16, the price of fresh shrimp increased by EUR 4.25/kg, the only rise. Those of frozen shrimp HLSO, frozen white prawn HLSO, frozen South American shrimp HLSO and frozen Tunisian shrimp HLSO declined. That of frozen prawn has not varied.
On Mercamadrid, prices remained stable during week 17, compared with the previous week.
