Exports: Peruvian Customs informed that in February 2014 exports of HOSO, PUD and HLSO frozen shrimp reached 360.5 tonnes, worth over USD 3.5 million FOB, down 77% in volume and 79% in FOB value on those of the previous month.
These figures may change in this month, some information may be missing. As usual, Peruvian Customs will adjust figures during the following month.
If February figures are confirmed, during the first two months of 2014, Peru exported 1,520 tonnes of frozen HOSO, PUD and HLSO, worth almost USD 17.3 million FOB. They figures may be increased.
