Since Tet, the price of pangasius raw material (input) and output products for export of this item has prospered, so companies are very excited, the working atmosphere is urgent and energetic. In addition to traditional pangasius fillet products, some businesses also process products from pangasius such as: tra fish balls, fish cakes... to serve the domestic market and export with high value. According to businesses, since the Lunar New Year until now, the demand for seafood from foreign partners is very high, especially pangasius fillet is very attractive.
Currently, most pangasius processing enterprises for export in Tien Giang province are active in farming areas, so they must ensure enough input materials and limit purchasing from outsiders, so they can reduce production costs and make profits.
With the Covid-19 epidemic under control in the area, the company's activities have stabilized and accelerated since the beginning of the year.
At this time, nearly 95% of workers of Go Dang Joint Stock Company have returned to factories and workshops for production. Currently, this enterprise has 250 hectares of water surface to raise pangasius in the provinces of Tien Giang, Ben Tre and Vinh Long to supply raw materials for factories. Every week, businesses export from 70-80 containers of pangasius fillet products to other countries.
