On 8 April 2010, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgated the Circular No. 25/2010/TT-BNNPTNT on guiding on the food hygiene and safety control for imported foodstuffs of animal origin.
After 5 months, MARD issued Circular No. 51/2010/TT-BNNPTNT to amend some certain articles of the Circulars No. 25/2010/TT-BNNPTNT.
