(vasep.com.vn) In May 22nd, 2013, Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has issued the Circular No.26/2013/TT-BNNPTNT related to fish fry management in Vietnam.
The Circular shall be applied to Vietnamese organizations, individuals and foreign organizations and individuals relating to fish fry trading, experimentation and testing activities within Vietnam.
The Circular regulates conditions of fish fry production and trading; the quality of fish fry; experimentation and testing; controlling production conditions and quality of fish fry.
1. Conditions of fish fry production:
- Conditions of fish hatcheries
- Conditions of fish fry breeding facilities
- Conditions of broodstock breeding and trading facilities
2. Quality of fish fry:
- Standards applied to fish fry
- Legally conformed certificate and issuance of fish fry
- Quality of fish fry
3. Fish fry experimentation and testing:
- Principals on experimentation
- Conditions of fish fry experimentation facilities
- Procedures for accreditation of experimentation facilities
- Procedures on fish fry experimentation
- Procedures for accreditation of new fish fry
- Fish fry testing
4. Inspectation of production conditions and quality of fish fry:
- Inspection of fish fry production and trading facilities
- Inspection of the quality of breeded and traded fish fry
- Inspection of the quality of imported fish fry
- Inspection of fish fry breeding facilities abroad
The Circular will be in effect since July 5th, 2013.
