(vasep.com.vn)On 12th September 2012, Ministry of Health promulgated the Circular 15/2012/TT-BYT regulating on general conditions ensuring food safety by food establishments.
According to the circular, owners or managers of food establishments who directly produce food and food traders must be trained and granted a certificate to prove that they joined in training courses of food safety. They are also required to have a good health, to get periodic health examination, to be free from infectious diseases..
The circular regulates food safety conditions on food trading establishments. Origin and expiration date must be clearly noted in all food. Food establishments must ensure other conditions such as a room for showing and selling products, an area for preserving products, enough water for cleaning equipments and workshops..
The circular take effect as from 1st November 2012.
