(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Seafood Expo Global – The Global Seafood Expo is one of the largest Seafood Trade Fairs in Europe and the World. The exhibition attracts more than 1,550 exhibitors from more than 76 countries around the world with the exhibition space of nearly 40,000 square meters. This year's fair will be held from April 25 to 27, 2023 in Barcelona, Spain.

This year, there are 38 Vietnamese seafood enterprises participating with VASEP at the Global Expo 2023. The number of participating enterprises has doubled compared to 2022. Major seafood products will be displayed at the fair including pangasius, shrimp. Seafood products are all present here with a diverse range of deep-processed products, extremely convenient "ready to eat" "ready to cook" products to meet rapidly changing consumption trends after the pandemic. The Global Expo 2023 with large participation of producers, importers, suppliers will be the most suitable place for Vietnamese enterprises to introduce products and their transition from raw materials to value-added products.

Attending international exhibitions is a valuable opportunity for Vietnamese seafood enterprises

Besides trading activities, searching for customers and introducing products at the booth, this year, VASEP will organize more demonstrations of dishes made from pangasius, shrimp, tuna, and other items under the theme “Healthy Convenience” with Vietnamese chefs living and working for many years in Spain.

In the first quarter of 2023, imports of seafood decreased significantly. In this context, attending international exhibitions is a valuable opportunity for seafood enterprises to update information about markets,  direct production and export strategy for the year 2023-2024.

The slogan “Vietnam Seafood- Sustainable Destination” affirms the determination of the Vietnamese seafood industry to choose a sustainable development direction
