Vietfish 2025: Rebranding to unlock new opportunities for Vietnam’s seafood industry

News 09:00 29/08/2025
In the ever-changing flow of the global economy, transformation is not just a choice but an inevitable step to reach new heights. Today, Vietfish 2025 officially makes that historic transformation, unveiling its new brand identity alongside an ambitious declaration: not just an exhibition, but a beacon guiding the future of Asia’s seafood industry.

Strategic goal: From regional leader to Asia’s No.1 Seafood Expo

After a quarter-century journey, Vietfish has firmly established itself as Southeast Asia’s leading seafood exhibition. With greater ambitions, Vietfish 2025 sets a bold new target: repositioning itself to become Asia’s No.1 seafood exhibition.

This is not merely a race for scale, but a comprehensive upgrade in quality. The concept of “Asia’s No.1 exhibition” means Vietfish will serve as a “hyper-connector” – the central hub where all flows of trade, technology, and knowledge in the seafood industry across the continent converge in Vietnam.

“Connecting Asia to the world”: Innovation and sustainability

The new theme “CONNECTING ASIA TO THE WORLD” embodies this strategic vision. It reflects two core commitments that will define Vietfish’s future, with the message “Innovation and Sustainability”:

1. Relentless innovation: To connect with the world, we must speak a common language—the language of technology, quality, and creativity. Vietfish 2025 will be the stage for cutting-edge technologies, breakthrough business models, and solutions that enhance Asia’s seafood competitiveness on the global stage.

2. Sustainable development: Connection is not only about trade but also responsibility. In the face of climate change and resource depletion, sustainability is the only path forward. Vietfish commits to promoting responsible farming, processing, and business practices that protect marine ecosystems for future generations.

Decoding the new brand identity: Where aspiration meets legacy

The new brand identity of Vietfish 2025 represents a perfect blend of industry heritage and future aspirations:

Logo – simplified & bold: Building on the old design, the new logo adopts sharper, minimalist lines. The stylized fish conveys motion and breakthrough, symbolizing a confident, modern, and decisive Vietfish.

Unique, vibrant patterns: Inspired by familiar images in the seafood industry and the exhibition itself, designers turned them into modern, minimal graphic icons:

  • Core symbols: Fish, ocean waves, and a ship wheel – honoring the industry’s legacy.
  • Community symbols: Dots symbolizing hundreds of booths and thousands of businesses, forming a dense network of connection and collaboration.
  • Aspirational symbol: The stylized “V” (Vietnam, Victory) pointing upward – representing prosperity and the spirit of continuous conquest.

Color Palette:

  • Blue: The ocean’s vastness, symbolizing trust, professionalism, and a strong commitment to sustainability.
  • Red: The flame of passion, relentless effort, and the determination to break through.

Together, these design elements create a vibrant visual language that tells the story of a diverse seafood industry driven by vision, dynamism, and readiness to engage with the world.
