Currently, Vinh Hoan Corp is the largest pangasius export corporation in Vietnam, continuously leading in pangasius export turnover from 2009 to the present. In 2021, Vinh Hoan's export turnover reached nearly 400 million USD. Consolidated revenue of the whole corporation reached 9,060 billion VND, profit after tax 1,110 billion VND, up 54% compared to the previous year. Ms. Vi Tam is running a corporation with 10,000 employees, 600 hectares of farming area, and the total capacity of processing factories is 1,000 tons of pangasius/day.
After six years of taking the executive role at Vinh Hoan, with the support of the founding shareholders, Ms. Vi Tam led the company to operate professionally and develop in scale, consolidate its leading position in the industry and develop steadily in major markets such as the United States and the EU. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vinh Hoan implemented a three-on-the-spot (eat/ live/ work on the spot) production method for 6,000 workers, so as to maintain safe production and meet export orders on schedule.
Ms. Vi Tam holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the Maastricht University of Management in the Netherlands. She graduated from Ho Chi Minh City Law University, worked for YKVN law firm, advised Vinh Hoan in the anti-dumping case into the US market, got noticed by Vinh Hoan's founder for her capabilities, and was then invited to join Vinh Hoan.
