By the end of April, this market consumed 102 million USD of pangasius, up 19% over the same period last year.

Tuna export value this month reached nearly 87 million USD, an increase of 29%. Accumulated in the first 4 months of 2024, export turnover reached nearly 302 million USD, an increase of 22%.

The European Commission (EC) has rescheduled an inspection on illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in Vietnam from May to this upcoming autumn, according to Director of the Fisheries Resources Surveillance Department Nguyen Quang Hung.
