Hoa Phat Seafood Import – Export and Processing Joint Stock Company (HOPHAFISH) is located in Binh Long I.D.Z, Chau Phu Dist, An Giang Province, Vietnam. HOPHAFISH has completely new, modern and totally equipped facilities. There are nine IQF conveyors with the ability to transport 9000kgs per hour; four contact-freezers that can freeze up to 3000kgs fish per hour, and the cold-room that has the capacity to contain 4000 pallets of fish.

In the top 10 importing markets, exports to most of markets posted the positive growth compared to 2017 (except for the EU and Brazil).

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In January 2018, Vietnam’s pangasius exports to China, Hong Kong and ASEAN increased sharply, while exports to the EU continued to decline.

By the end of the year, Vietnam’s pangasius exports to this market valued at US$45.7 million, accounting for 2.6% of the total export value, up 2.5% over 2016. With this value, the Netherlands and the UK stayed as the two largest pangasius exporters of Vietnam.

The two sides have been going back and forth since the U.S. issued the new tariff on March 15.

Vietnam’s seafood trade group and several Vietnamese seafood trading companies are considering filing a complaint with the U.S. Court of International Trade after the U.S. Department of Commerce announced unprecedented antidumping rates against Vietnamese pangasius exporters.

Vinh Hoan, one of Vietnam’s top pangasius exporting firms, has announced the launch of a new product that will be featured at the 2018 Seafood Expo Global in Brussels, Belgium.
