The locality will propagate and mobilize people to change the farming form from traditional wooden cages to new materials (HDPE) that can withstand waves and ensure safety; orientation for people to raise aquatic products of high economic value, key products... to both increase economic efficiency and preserve the farming environment.
For open sea areas, capable businesses will be called to invest in marine aquaculture in the direction of industry, applying science and technology, raising with modern cages to increase commercial production. In addition, the province will form linkage groups, establish aquaculture cooperatives to link with businesses to form linkage chains, consume products, and stabilize output for farmers.
According to the policy of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, in the coming time, aquaculture will change from traditional farming to industrial methods, applying high technology; promote sustainable farming practices; to step up the application of advanced science and technology in aquaculture and seafood processing, to create key products with high quality and economic value to meet the market's demand.
In order to develop the fisheries sector into an important, sustainable economic sector that can adapt to climate change, the province orients that development must be associated with industrialization and modernization; application of science and technology to aquaculture and seafood processing.
