Mr. Le Van Quang, General Director of Minh Phu Seafood Corporation - the project investor, said that the scale of the project chain includes: Minh Phu seafood processing factory, with a designed capacity of 19,000 tons/ per year on the construction land area of more than 29,800 m2; Minh Phat seafood processing factory with a designed capacity of 19 thousand tons/year on a construction land area of more than 29,800 m2; Quang Minh packaging factory with a capacity of 5,000 tons/year; Centralized wastewater treatment plant with designed capacity of 2,700 m3/day and night on a construction land area of 2.73 ha; Total investment capital is over 1,600 billion VND.
In particular, the projects are implemented according to the circular economy and carbon balance in the whole Minh Phu shrimp value chain. The project also invests in social housing, takes care of housing and welfare for employees of Minh Phu Seafood Group.
According to the plan, Minh Phat Seafood Processing Factory and Centralized Wastewater Treatment Plant will be completed and put into operation in the second quarter of 2022; Particularly, Minh Phu Seafood Processing Factory will be completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2025.
With robust production and processing infrastructure, combined with continuous market development efforts, Vietnam’s seafood exports are poised for 10–15% growth in 2025.

Export value during the month increased by nearly 4% year-on-year, reaching approximately USD 82 million.
