In this year, AGIFISH’s production and business situation still encounter many difficulties. However, due to the pandemic that has gradually brought under control, the market has also stabilized progressively, along with the recovery in export demand, all factories will be operated at full capacity.
AGIFISH revealed that they will be focusing on the production of fillet products, reducing the size of material farming areas, reducing the size of some inefficient farming areas in order to recover the capital to repay the banks. This helps the company to lower the pressure coming from interest rate.
Also, the company will restructure the wholesalers and distribution agents of value-added products with the aim to boost efficiency, reduce cost to strengthen competitiveness
AGIFISH, formerly known as An Giang Frozen food enterprise - established in 1985, was equitized in 2001. At that time, the company ranked 2nd in the country in terms of seafood export processing capacity (with the main products are frozen basa fish and pangasius).
