Shrimp exports reached US$840.8 million in Q3, up from US$ 573.9 million in Q1 and US$ 716.2 million in Q2 but still down compared to the same period in 2014. From July to September, shrimp shipments increased steadily from US$ 263.5 million to nearly US$ 305 million. The cumulative figure in the first 9 months of this year hit US$ 2.1 billion, down 27.4% from the same period of 2014.
