(vasep.com.vn) Due to unstable prices coupled with complicated shrimp disease development, Phu Tan district (Ca Mau) has over 1,900 hectares of shrimp farms, reported as a fall from the previous year.
From the beginning of the year, the disease affected 523 hectares of shrimp farms in Phu Tan district, accounting for more than 26% of the shrimp farming area.
Experts cooperating with towns and commune authorities provided 36 tons of chemicals for farmers clean 100 hectares of ponds.
