Vinh Hoan's Lucky Bag product, a finalist for the 2024 Seafood Excellence Asia best new product award
Modeled after the Seafood Excellence Awards presented at Seafood Expo North America and the Seafood Excellence Global Awards given out at Seafood Expo Global, the Seafood Excellence Asia Awards are selected based on criteria including innovation, packaging, pricing, and market acceptance.
In the inaugural edition of the event in 2023, Cooke subsidiary Tassal took home the Best New Product award for its Tassal Tassie Smoked Salmon Twin Pack 2 x 50g.

According to event organizer Diversified Communications, judging for the award will be done live at the event by a panel of high-volume seafood buyers and industry experts from the retail and foodservice industries across Asia. All products submitted for the competition will be on display at the Product Showcase in stand #D19 and can be viewed on the event website.
The 2024 Seafood Expo Asia will also feature a conference program with speakers addressing timely topics relevant to the Asian seafood industry, as well as a range of other activities.

Vĩnh Hoàn Corporation (stock code: VHC – HoSE) has outlined an ambitious business plan for 2025, targeting revenue of VND 13,800 billion (up 10.3% from 2024) and after-tax profit of VND 1,500 billion (up 22.3%).
