VIETFISH 2014 – LARGEST SEAFOOD FAIR IN SOUTHEAST ASIA COMING

(vasep.com.vn) After 15 years, Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition 2014 (VIETFISH 2014) organized by VASEP is increasingly becoming professional and widely known by international fishery community. VIETFISH is considered as a good destination for global buyers to find potential and qualified fish suppliers in Vietnam.

VIETFISH is the largest seafood trade event in the South East Asia and is one of the most important seafood shows in the world. VIETFISH attracts 30,000 buyers, suppliers and visitors from the country and around the world.

302 booths with the attendance of 173 companies which include 60 seafood enterprises and 113 services ones, VIETFISH 2014 is expected to create great opportunities for seafood buyers and suppliers from the globe to meet and do business.

VIETFISH 2014 will be opened officially at 9 AM on August 6th 2014 and last during three days from August 06-08, 2014 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC, 799 Nguyen Van Linh Ave., District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the first time the exhibition held in August instead of June as usual which aims to attract more foreign visitors to join in the fair.

The exhibition of the year will have a booth with area of nearly 100 square meters for local exhibitors to promote their seafood products and food to local visitors. This is a special feature of the show in this year.

In the framework of the exhibition, a series of international seminars held by prestigious organizations will take place. In which, “Vietnam Pangasius Forum - Vietfish 2014” with the theme “The sustainable growth for pangasius at European market” will be co-organized by Supa project and VASEP on Aug 6th 2014. The main contents of the forum are the sustainability development of pangasius at European market; efforts and actions to improve and enhance the image of Pangasius products in the world market; Pangasius Outlook at the EU market and FTA Vietnam - EU: Opportunities for the seafood sector.

With great efforts to ensure a professional, prestigious exhibition, VIETFISH 2014 is ready to welcome all trade partners, experts in fisheries industry, seafood enterprises and customers to participate in the show.​

Seafood sector profits forecast to surge in 2025
