Key products, including shrimp, pangasius, tuna, crab, and shellfish, all saw significant growth compared to 2023. This recovery not only highlights the seafood industry's development potential but also reflects the ongoing efforts of businesses and regulatory agencies to enhance product quality and expand export markets. However, challenges remain, including the EU's IUU inspections and the U.S. anti-subsidy tax on imported shrimp.
We are optimistic that overcoming these challenges will lead to continued positive growth in seafood exports during the fourth quarter, resulting in better overall performance for 2024 compared to 2023. This report not only details market developments but also offers forecasts and recommendations to optimize export strategies, enhancing the position of Vietnamese seafood in the global market.
To gain deeper insights into the current status of seafood production and exports, including key products like shrimp, pangasius, tuna, squid, octopus, crab, and shellfish, we invite businesses and readers to register for the Report on Vietnam Seafood Exports for the third quarter of 2024, released by VASEP at the end of October 2024.
