Inviting businesses to attend SEAFOOD EXPO ASIA 2025

Seafood Expo Asia 2025 in Singapore is an opportunity for Vietnamese seafood businesses to promote products, connect with partners and expand regional markets.

The Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore received notice from the Seafood Expo Asia Organizing Committee about the plan to organize the Exhibition in 2025 as follows:

Time: From September 10 to 12, 2025 (03 days)

Location: Sands Expo & Convention Centre (10 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018956)

This year's exhibition has the participation of more than 400 businesses around the world and experts in the seafood industry with the desire to promote popular seafood products, equipment and services, as well as discuss prevailing trends for 10 main groups of goods and services, including:

  1.  Frozen seafood
  2.  Fresh seafood
  3.  Value added seafood (processed)
  4.  Primary seafood processing tools
  5.  Live seafood
  6.  Seafood farming
  7.  Canned seafood
  8.  Packaging tools and materials
  9.  Tools and equipment for cold storage and freezing
  10.  Transportation/logistics/cold storage

As of this posting, there are businesses and associations from 08 countries (including: China, Ecuador, Japan, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Korea, Spain, and the United States) confirmed to open booths at the Exhibition.

In addition to organizing booths, the Organizing Committee also has dedicated dialogue programs aimed at deeply connecting potential customer groups (in fields such as Aviation, Food Distribution, Fast Food Chains, Hospitals, Hotels, Restaurants, Supermarkets...)

Cumulative pangasius export turnover in the first four months of 2026 reached USD 720 million, up 17% year-on-year, reflecting the positive growth momentum of this key export product.

Vietnam’s crab exports in Q1/2026: Strong growth, but caution remains necessary

(vasep.com.vn) In the first three months of 2026, Vietnam’s exports of crabs and other crustaceans reached more than USD 93 million, up 23% compared to the same period last year. The result shows that the sector is experiencing a fairly positive recovery, especially in its two key product groups: crabs and swimming crabs. However, behind the growth figures are several concerns: export markets remain highly concentrated, raw material supply is unstable, and trade barriers from the US and EU are becoming increasingly stringent.

Ca Mau shifts strongly toward high-tech shrimp farming

In Hung My commune alone, there are about 260 super-intensive shrimp farming households covering more than 265 hectares, playing a key role in local economic development.

Amid competitive pressure, fish cake and surimi exports still have growth opportunities

Although total export value declined slightly due to decreases in some key markets, many other destinations continued to post strong growth, opening up room for this convenience-oriented processed segment in the coming quarters.
