Commission Regulation (EU) No.28/2012: Requirements for certifying mixed food imported into or transit through EU
(vasep.com.vn) In January 11th 2012, the European Commission promulgated the Regulation (EC) No.28/2012 laying down requirements for certifying mixed food imported into or transit through EU and amending Decision 2007/275/EC and Regulation (EC) No. 1162/2009.
Mixed seafood products, containing half or more of them are processed fish as defined in Article 4(b) of Decision 2007/275/EC, should apply this Regulation. Mixed food products (including those imported into EU or transit through EU and destined for a third country) referred to Regulation EC No.28/2012 will be certified according to health certificate form enclosed with this Regulation.
The Regulation comes into effect in March 1st 2012. However, consignments of mixed products granted relevant health certificates in accordance with Article 5 of Decision 2007/275/EC before March 1st 2012 may continue to be imported or transited into EU until September 1st 2012.
