Minh Phu in Ca Mau and Hau Giang dropped sharply, reaching only 25% of capacity. But thanks to the company's shift to large-sized shrimp production, the output has improved, reaching about 50%. The company is accelerating and expecting year-end orders.

Shrimp exports for the whole year in 2021 are estimated at about 3.88 billion USD, up 4% compared to 2020. In which, exports to the US and EU markets continue to record good growth rates.

In which, exports to major markets increased sharply: to the US increased by 24%, to Korea increased by 19% and the most breakthrough was to the EU market, up 86%. By the end of November 2021, the country's shrimp exports reached 3.55 billion USD, up 3.4% over the same period in 2020.

As of November this year, Vietnam's shrimp exports to the CPTPP market were estimated at US$905.2 million, down 0.2% over the same period. Vietnam's shrimp exports to the main markets in the CPTPP block tend to recover in the year-end period.
