News 09:22 04/03/2025 Bảo Ngọc
On February 26, 2025, VinFast and the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement to strongly promote green transformation goals. The collaboration between the two parties will contribute to the realization of the country’s sustainable development goals and help elevate the Vietnamese brand on the international market.

According to the agreement, VinFast and VASEP will closely cooperate to accelerate the green transformation process and sustainable development, supporting the enhancement of the Vietnamese brand worldwide.

Specifically, VASEP will prioritize the use of VinFast electric vehicles when suitable for the transportation and logistics needs of VASEP and its member businesses. VinFast will support VASEP in its green transformation by offering preferential policies and encouraging businesses, staff, and employees within VASEP to transition from gasoline vehicles to electric vehicles.

Additionally, VinFast will assist in connecting VASEP with the International Exhibition and Convention Center at Vinhomes Global Gate Urban Area (Dong Anh, Hanoi) to collaborate in organizing annual seafood industry fairs. Moreover, VinFast and VASEP will research and collaborate on developing projects related to carbon credits, thereby enhancing the value of VASEP member businesses in challenging export markets such as the EU and the USA.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice President of Vingroup and Chairwoman of VinFast, stated: “The cooperation agreement between VinFast and VASEP reflects our shared vision of creating a greener Vietnam and promoting sustainable development. With our respective strengths, VinFast and VASEP will work together to elevate the image of the Vietnamese brand globally, thereby contributing to building a sustainable economy in this new era.”

At the same event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Sắc, President of VASEP, shared: “Green transformation is an inevitable trend that will help the Vietnamese seafood industry develop sustainably and enhance its competitiveness in international markets. Our partnership with VinFast will provide strong momentum for seafood businesses to accelerate this process.”

By sharing a common vision for green transformation, the cooperation between VinFast and VASEP reaffirms the pioneering spirit of the business community in supporting national development goals. This collaboration is part of the "Vibrant Vietnamese Spirit – For a Green Future" initiative launched by Vingroup. Previously, Vingroup had collaborated with influential companies such as Viettel, FPT, and VinaChem.
