In the final results of the eighth antidumping duty administrative review (POR8) on certain frozen fish fillets from Vietnam from 1 August 2010 to 31 July 2011, pangasius fillets of 14 Vietnam companies exported to the U.S would be subjected to 0.77 – 3.87 USD/kg of antidumping duty for the period. The duty rate is 25 – 44 times higher over the results in POR7.
However, after the decision, the U.S importers have increased the purchasing price of fish to maintain their supply volume. Currently, pangasius price is higher than before the publication of POR8 final results.

This indicates that crab exports are entering 2026 with stronger growth momentum, particularly in Asian markets.
