In Đak Lak, black tiger shrimp prices stayed unchanged from late September, with size 50 pcs/kg at VND 220,000/kg, size 40 pcs/kg at VND 250,000/kg, and size 30 pcs/kg at VND 300,000/kg. Meanwhile, whiteleg shrimp size 100 pcs/kg dropped by around VND 2,000/kg to VND 100,000/kg due to more abundant supply and temporarily slower export demand.
In Quang Tri, prices for most shrimp types remained flat. Sand shrimp (40–50 pcs/kg) were sold at VND 400,000/kg, “bop” shrimp (45–50 pcs/kg) at VND 420,000/kg, and black tiger shrimp (20–30 pcs/kg) at about VND 430,000/kg. Whiteleg shrimp (30–40 pcs/kg) held steady at VND 240,000/kg. Lobster (3–5 pcs/kg) continued to fetch high prices of around VND 1.25 million/kg thanks to stable demand in the premium segment.
In Ca Mau, the country’s largest shrimp-farming hub, raw shrimp prices remained relatively stable but diverged across sizes. Black tiger shrimp size 20 pcs/kg stayed at VND 275,000/kg, while size 30 pcs/kg fell by VND 8,000 to VND 152,000/kg. Whiteleg shrimp size 20 pcs/kg remained at VND 250,000/kg.
According to traders and industry experts, raw shrimp prices may see a slight increase in November 2025 as processors step up purchasing for year-end export orders, while new supply remains limited.
