Recently, IDI Corp exports its fish products to 90 countries and territories, in which America is the leading market, followed by the EU, Ukraine, Middle East and ASEAN.

IDI Corp – an affiliate of Sao Mai Corporation – is one of the exporters recording great trading results in Vietnam. In first seven months of 2010, IDI Corp ranked the 11th among Vietnam leading pangasius exporters. Up to the end of July 2011, it climbed to the 5th position, after Vinh Hoan Corp, Hung Vuong Corp, Agifish and Anvifish. IDI Corp strives to reach the 3th – 4th position in pangasius exporter list by receiving more orders in the last months of the year and operating its two processing plants with full processing capacity of 600 MT of raw pangasius per day.

IDI Corp expected to reach its yearly plan of US$66 million of total turnover and VND152 billion of post-tax profit, because higher demand of international markets is showing positive signs in the last months of 2011.

In early 2010, IDI Corp operated pangasius farms with 20 hectares for each in compliance with GlobalGAP standards in Cho Moi district (An Giang province), Lai Vung district (Dong Thap province), O Mon district (Can Tho province). Besides, the company ensured raw fish supply by contracting with 28 fish farmers in Mekong Delta provinces such as An Giang, Dong Thap, Vinh Long to expand fish farms to 150 hectares, producing 5,000 MT per month.

On 16th September 2011, IDI Corp started its project on construction of fish oil processor in cooperation with Hoang Ha Co.,Ltd with a total investment of US$15 million. The new plant is expected to run in line in Q.II/2012 with capacity of 100 MT/day and increase to 200 MT/day (62,400 MT/year) in the next three years.
