Final results of POR6 of the antidumping duty on Vietnam shrimp

(vasep.com.vn) On 4th September 2012, US Department of Commerce announced the final results of the 6th antidumping duty administrative review on certain warmwater shrimp imported from Vietnam into the U.S in the period of February 1st 2010 to January 31st 2011.

 There are some changes in the results compared to the preliminary determination published in March 2012. The average margin assigned for two mandatory respondents (Minh Phu Group and Nha Trang Seafoods) is higher than in the preliminary results. The margin calculation for Minh Phu Group increased from 0.09 percent (de minimis) to 1.27 percent. Nha Trang Seafoods margin rate up from 0 percent to 1.23 percent.

32 other exporters are applied the margin of 1.25 percent. Vietnam wide rate was determined at 25.76 percent.

This result indicates that pangasius exports maintained their growth momentum despite significant volatility in the global market environment. In December 2025, pangasius export value reached USD 200 million, up 10% compared to December 2024. This solid performance in the final month of the year reflects increased import demand for consumption and inventory replenishment in key markets.
