August 2022 marked the spectacular return of VIETFISH, a major event of Vietnam's seafood industry. The record number of customers at Vietfish Expo 2022 signaled more positive results for Vietnamese seafood businesses. In August, seafood export turnover showed a positive trend: reaching nearly 1 billion USD, up 68% over the same period last year and up 6% over the previous month. Exports of all major aquatic products in August were higher than in the previous month. In which, shrimp exports reached nearly 400 million USD, pangasius exports reached nearly 195 million USD, tuna exports reached over 91 million USD, squid and octopus exports reached 75 million USD, the rest was other marine products
