Vietnam's tuna exports in March 2024 surged by 17%, reaching nearly $84 million. In the first quarter of 2024, Vietnam's tuna exports totaled $215 million, up 19% from the same period in 2023 but 17% lower than in 2022. At this pace and with the challenges facing the tuna industry, tuna exports are unlikely to reach the $1 billion mark this year as they did in 2022.
