Vinh Long: Down in pangasius stocking area
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) According to the report of Vinh Long province, the province has 444 ha of superficies for intensive pangasius farming, 3 ha higher than that of the same period of 2015.
In which, the area of 249.5 ha is being used for stocking pangasius (down 36 ha), the area prepared for stocking pangasius is 113.1 ha (down 6.1 ha), the area shifted to farming other species is 16.5 ha (down 3.2 ha), the idle area is 64.8 ha (up 48.2 ha).
Currently, the province 1,032 fish cages (an increase of 344 units) with the total volume of 232,080 cubic meters (a rise of 89,346 cubic meters over the same period last year).
