Its gross profits reached VND447.4 billion, and gross profit margin also rose to 16 percent from 11.8 percent. These are the main reasons for increase in Vinh Hoan’s profits in 2009.
Its pre-tax in 2009 amounted to VND241 billion, and after-tax profits of VND204 billion, up 148 percent year-on-year.
According to the statistics of Vietnam Customs, by 15 December 2009, Vinh Hoan Corp exported 37,201MT of seafood, valued at US$106.5 million, ranking fourth in the list of Viet Nam’s seafood exporters.
