Vietnam’s pangasius exports to the UK up to March 15, 2019 increased by 69.5 percent to 11.9 million USD.
The exports mainly comprised frozen pangasius fillet, the most high-priced item at 5.3 USD per kilogramme.

The UK, the second largest market for Vietnam’s pangasius in the EU, is expected to remain a major buyer in Europe this year.
Its demand is expected to grow steadily and prices are likely to remain high this year, making it a attractive market for Vietnamese exporters.
Vietnam is the sixth largest supplier of white meat to the UK after Iceland, China, Norway, Russia, and the Faroe Islands.
